1. What we collect
We collect only the information reasonably required to procure, settle and deliver your order: your full name, contact number, email address, delivery address, and — where our anti-fraud policy requires it — a South African identity or passport number.
We do not collect or store full payment card details. Card data is captured and processed entirely within PayFast's secure environment.
2. How your data is protected
All traffic to and from our platform is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Customer records — including names, delivery rows, contact parameters and identity numbers — are stored encrypted at rest in our managed database, behind row-level access controls.
Identity numbers are displayed to authorised personnel in a masked format by default. Unmasked access is restricted at the database level to a single super-administrator role and is written to an immutable audit log.
3. Why we process it
Your personal information is processed strictly for the following purposes:
- To settle your payment through PayFast and reconcile the transaction;
- To hand off delivery details to our courier partners for last-mile routing;
- To source, verify and quality-control the device you ordered;
- To provide order tracking, warranty support and after-sales service;
- To comply with our anti-fraud, tax and record-keeping obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum necessary data with our payment processor (PayFast) and our courier partners (including The Courier Guy) solely to complete your order. We never sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.
5. Retention & your rights
We retain order and transaction records for as long as required to honour warranty obligations and to satisfy South African record-keeping requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Send any request through our contact page.
6. Cookies
We use only essential browser storage required to keep your cart, region preference and signed-in session working. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
